Individual Family Session Information & Tips

Family portraits are so important! Your family will never again be who they are today. Tomorrow will bring changes…new milestones, growing little bodies, changing faces, graying hair (it happens!), starting high school, leaving for college, etc, etc. We all know it happens, but it’s amazing how fast it does.

For family sessions, or sessions with children over 6 months, I recommend an outdoor location. I know many great locations in the area and since each family is unique, I would be happy to help you choose a setting that suits your personality. The early morning and late afternoon/early evening light works best for photographs taken outdoors. I will travel up to 25 miles from my home for on-location shoots. A travel expense will be added for locations over 25 miles.

Family sessions include images of the family together, siblings together, mom with kids, dad with kids, mom & dad alone and each child alone (or other combos you might have in mind). Typically a family session lasts 1 hour but sometimes lasts longer depending on children’s moods and locations where we are shooting.

1. Package 1: Family of 3 $225 (30+ images)
2. Package 2: Family of 4-5 $250 (40+ images)
3. Package 3: Family of 6-8 $275 (50+ images)
